Thursday will be a read thru!

Thursday will be the first rehearsal. Please choose a spokes person to communicate how rehearsals will run (three plays per day in BBox, other directors will work with actors in other locations if they are not in BBox plays). Then, you should read thru as many plays as possible, perhaps continuing on Monday, if you don't get thru them all. Do not read thru Mason's! It will take a week!

    This whole blog thing is really freaking me out. However, Jared, though i thought his name was Chris, walked in and actually looked like a more subdued, less controversial, less explicit, and far less groin area grabbing version of Martin. To say the least I'm pumped.


    P.S. Marcy is the worst question asker ever!

    i thought today went really well also. i ended up being completely surprised by so people who auditioned. (in a good way)
    we have a few really good options for our main roles so i'm really excited to see what tomorrow shows us.
    and ps, sam, martin is the main character in our play...

    ...I wish I had more characters in my play.

    Some people really surprised me so I'm doing callbacks for the roles of Jim, Bob, and Kathy.

    Today was a whirlwind of emotion!!
    I didn't want to jinx it (even though I ended up doing just that) but I sort of found myself banking on Luke Tsarnas for my lead guy...but he was a no-show. I cried.
    HOWEVER, my life was changed when I just read my horoscope. Creepy stuff! I thought it might have the answer and it did...
    "If the doorknob doesn't want to turn today, don't force it. You will only succeed in breaking the key in half. Perhaps you just need to try another door. If things don't flow smoothly into place, then they probably weren't meant to be."
    So...hopefully I'll be reassured by call backs tomorrow! Jarred could be a contender. He and Don nailed the auditions today! Let's see...

    yeah we had a lot of solid auditions today. sam, i agree with your decision on nick (he's fabulous). i wont lie, going into it i thought i knew who i was casting. but now i have no clue. this is gonna be a really tough decision

    I thought it went very well today (from my cold seat out in the hallway) I think we have a few things to talk about before call backs, but tomorrow should go/ hopefully will go smoothly.

    I was able to cast tonight, which should give you all a bit more callback time. Our plays don't overlap, so don't worry about actor theft, my friends.

    p.s. IM SO EXCITED TO CAST. Why are SO many people called back though? We must have all called back different people to make the number add up to 20...nuts.
