-Some of you need to get your act together! It's embarrassing to the show, to myself and Mr. D, and the other directors.
-Also, the drama NEEDS to stop. You are acting absolutely silly and ridiculous over completely petty things

-Have confidence in each other and in the shows...they will be amazing!

-Dressing room: keep it organized check. Make sure your actors put their things next to your coat hanger marker. Also check the for your things on the "randomness" rack

  4. some of your plays are looking good, others still need work. keep in mind that this year's Spring Play is not about polished perfect plays (a bit of alliteration there..) but rather a "workshop" atmosphere where its ok to be "rough around the edges."

clock is ticking, so it is ESSENTIAL that you make sure your costumes, props, tech specs, last minute tune ups, etc. are ALL taken care of ASAP.

One last note - all of you have worked hard, have had ups and downs, and are still standing. BE proud of what you've accomplished and be proud of what your fellow directors/writers have accomplished. Let's stay focused, work TOGETHER, and finish strong!

    YEAH!!!

  7. You should all be making sure that props and costumes are in place. Kendell is not psychic and you have no Mrs. Bruno. Your lighting, sound, and projections are in very good hands. Trust in your operators up in the booth. They know what they are doing and Mr. Harding is a good coach for them. You all need to focus on YOUR ACTORS. Giving them doable notes and encouragement, running things with them if you get the chance - lines at lunch, what have you. They will come through for you, if they feel you believe in them and in Pennington Drama. It was not too long ago that you were them. If you catch my drift.
I have found it is also helpful to pray to the theatre gods. Seriously. They are out there and you've seen their work before. I am looking forward to it. Tech week is always full of emotion and waves of insanity. That's what it's for! Enjoy it; it's your last Pennington show. I'm excited to see your work.

  10. In the fall, it worked for Colleen and I to entirely stop eating and lay awake at night for about two weeks. Since you were up all night last night, you are one step away...Trust me, it will work out! Faith is part of it. Faith in yourself, your actors, your crew. It will happen and it will happen well.

  13. I won't be in school (at least) until 12pm today (still sick), but I'll be there for the recording, I promise. Though I hope I can stay dead for ten minutes without having a coughing fit. Maybe I'll just get wacked up on NiQuil and sleep in the blackbox tonight.
